Jana D. Lamanna practices in the area of family law, civil litigation, probate, commercial litigation, medical malpractice defense, fidelity and surety law and employment law.
She was admitted to the state bar of Tennessee in 2004 and the state bar of
Missouri in 2005.
A native of
New Madrid, Missouri, Ms. Lamanna received a B.A. in English from
the University of Mississippi, a M.B.A. from Christian Brothers
University, and her Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School
of Law, while completing one year of law school as a visiting student
at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While in law school Ms.
Lamanna was a member of the Mississippi College School of Law Moot
Court Board, Women's Bar Association, and University of Missouri-Kansas
City Trial Team.
Ms. Lamanna is listed in the Memphis Business Journal Top 40 under 40, 2008, and is a Memphis Leadership Academy Fellows Graduate.
Ms. Lamanna was
published in The Young Lawyer by the American Bar Association
in "Litigation 101: How to Take a Telephonic Deposition."
Ms. Lamanna is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, the Missouri
and Tennessee Bar Associations, and the American Bar Association.
